Question is..rather that changing the rear to a 41T would an 18T front with the 42T rear be close to a 17/41? Any cons to an 18T?

thanks in advance:cheers

GIVI Motorcycle Accessories has a line of tank bags that attach to the fuel filler ring (no magnets or straps). The one I have is a T489 and more specifically the fitment ring for the TL is the BF10.
The Ring

I was wondering what is an average dollar amount one could look at seeing if they part out a TLR that will be about 85% intact? I am working on getting another R and mostly for parts. The only parts on the bike that are questionable on me being able to sell is the fairings they have seen better days. Although most of the damage looks repairable if somebody wants to take the time. Engine has 30k and owner claims it has had regular service bike runs, able to be ridden, and clean title. I am possibly trading my quad and something else not sure what for it I am asking $2500 for my quad. Just need to be able to convince the wife I will not lose money I have been trying to sell my quad for about 4 months with no luck. So I am just wanting to know what others who have parted one out got. I know this is an open ended questions because there are so many factors that come into play but all parts will be OEM. I will be keeping mufflers, rear shock, front and rear rotors, brake lines, front blinkers, rear tail light and a few odds and ends.

Thanks

Okay my TL is grounded right now..need some help guys! Only have today, and tommorow to fix this.

TLR, Full Yoshi, K&N air filterm, and no PC installed.

Bike ran amazing hardly ever any problems.
I have had my ECU flashed by Chuck before for Bolt ons.
Now I have a full system so I sent my ECU to Chuck for reflashing. Got my ECU back, and installed it. Bike started running like pure crap after 5 minutes of riding. Barely would Idle, or Rev at all. Eventually would barely even start.

So I grabbed a stock ECU, and put it in. The TL will just turn over with it, and barely start. It hated that ECU alot.

So went back to the flashed ECU.

Chuck who is trying to help me out advised me to remove the flappers, So I removed them.(Looks like he mightve taken into affect that I've done all of the air box mods, but I havent yet)I checked my fuel pump, and its working great. I undid the external fuel filter, and its pooring gas properly. I changed my plugs. They looked fine. New C9EK put in.

I also did some tidying up, and checking of hoses, and vacuum lines.

Bike now starts fine, and seems to rev/idle great. When I pull the clutch in, and put it in gear now the RPGs start dropping pretty quickly, and it stalls. I tried riding it, and had little power.

Does this sound like a clutch issue now, or am i still having the same problems?

Any help is appreciated!!

Everything seemed fine, until i tested the voltage between pink (to ECU) and neg on battery.. Heres my problem:

With ignition ON (bike not running); 5.07DCV
With bike running in neutral; 4.92-4.94 DCV
With bike running in any gear: 4.92-4.94DCV

According to the test, it should read 4.7DCV in any gear..

I used a 15k resistance for 6th gear..
